Longo’s Markets, Bachly Construction and CHUM FM celebrates an amazing donation to Smilezone for ErinoakKids and YOU could win a $1000 Shopping Spree!
Longo’s has a history of giving back to the communities where they have stores, and this coming Saturday, their newest location in Southeast Oakville will host CHUM FM live on location to celebrate a very special donation to the Smilezone organization. Smilezone is an incredible initiative that designs areas in medical facilities specifically to make the treatment process a happy, comfortable environment for children and their families, and recently completed a space in one of our greatest local organizations, ErinoakKids. ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development is Ontario’s largest Children’s Treatment Centre, serving over 13,500 children with disabilities and their families each year, and does incredible work for a wide range of physical and/or developmental issues.
On Saturday, September 21, from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m., CHUM FM will be broadcasting live from Longo’s in Southeast Oakville, featuring radio host Ingrid Schumacher and special guests Roger Ashby, Darren B. Lamb and Marilyn Denis. At 11:30 a.m., members of the Longo family and the Longo’s Family Charitable Foundation as well as Scott Bachly from Bachly Construction will present a donation of an amazing $10,000 to Smilezone’s Adam Graves, former NHL alumni and New York Ranger. The funds will directly benefit the ErinoakKids facility.
Even better? During this fantastic celebration, you can enter to win a $1,000 Longo’s gift card! Longo’s Southeast Oakville is located at 469 Cornwall Road (west of Chartwell Road and east of Trafalgar Road).
